At Augie’s we want to grow awareness about the often-overlooked beauties of coffee, from its growth and preparation, to it’s incredibly diverse and delicate flavor possibilities. More than just creating drinks for customers, we want to create community, develop friendships between people of all different backgrounds and connect our world through love and passion for coffee.

We go through elaborate and extreme measures just to serve a cup of coffee, and at the end of the day it’s still just coffee. But that’s the fun of it… we love it. And we love all of the people we meet on these crazy adventures. The people that come into our shop, the farmers in Guatemala who wake up at 5 AM to harvest fresh crop. This is why we do what we do.

We believe in a crop-to-cup process at Augies, and we’re proud to offer hand-roasted coffee in our three unique and vibrant shops. Everything we do is done in the name of quality — from the raw coffee we source, sample, and roast in small batches to various methods we use to bring out the best flavors, aromas, and textures in our drinks. We believe in transparency, and our baristas are prepared to share some down and dirty coffee philosophy about everything from origins to best brew methods. At Augie’s it is our goal and mission to bring a contagious passion for specialty coffee to Redlands, the Inland Empire and beyond.

Augie’s Coffeehouse is a sparkling gem located in the heart of downtown Redlands 113 N. 5th Street 92373. With the freshest specialty grade coffees roasted on location, a passionate sometimes eccentric staff, drinks prepared with love, and a diverse crowd of students, retirees, hobos, doctors, pirates, pastors, winos, gypsies and nuns, you’re sure to fit in, and likely to enjoy yourself.

We as a staff strive for excellence in all facets of coffee production. We want to encourage good growing and farming techniques by purchasing only the highest grades of coffee and by supporting importers that offer fair and/or direct trade to hardworking farmers. We then strive to treat our various beans with the respect they deserve by delicately roasting and preparing them into drinks that accent distinct flavor profiles and honor all of the hard-work put into the growing and harvesting of each coffee.
